The Veterans Closet is a non-profit organization that provides a range of free essential services to veterans and their families. These services include access to clothing, food, household goods, and other basic necessities. The organization also offers job training, counseling, and assistance with accessing healthcare services.
As a veteran myself, I know firsthand how important these services can be for those who may be struggling to make ends meet or facing other challenges in their lives. The Veterans Closet provides a supportive and welcoming environment where veterans can receive the assistance they need to get back on their feet and lead fulfilling lives.
What sets The Veterans Closet apart is its commitment to serving the unique needs of the veteran community. The organization is staffed by volunteers who are themselves veterans or military family members, and who understand the challenges faced by those who have served our country.
The Veterans Closet holds a special place in my heart as it offers crucial assistance to my fellow veterans who may require support. As a former noncommissioned and commissioned officer during my military career, I have always been devoted to taking care of my soldiers. Retiring from the military hasn’t altered my dedication to supporting veterans and their families; it simply means I have to find innovative ways to continue to do so.

As an accomplished author, graphic artist, and publisher, I am currently focused on growing my publishing company, Blu Impressions Publishing. This involves identifying talented aspiring authors and published authors, developing innovative marketing strategies, and expanding our reach to new audiences.
In addition to growing my company, I am also working on several new art and inspirational motivational books. These projects draw on my years of experience in the publishing industry and my passion for creating works that inspire and uplift readers.
Looking ahead, I am excited about the possibilities for the future of Blu Impressions Publishing. We have a number of exciting projects in the works, including collaborations with new and established authors and artists, and I am confident that we will continue to grow and thrive in the years to come.
Where would you say your creativity and inspiration come from?
For me, my creativity and inspiration are often rooted in my life experiences. I find that reflecting on the challenges and triumphs that I have faced can spark new ideas and help me to approach problems in unique and innovative ways.
I also draw inspiration from the world around me, whether it’s exploring new places, meeting new people, or immersing myself in different cultures and traditions. I find that exposure to new ideas and perspectives can be a powerful catalyst for creativity.
