Shante James Created a Business and Solution for Kids Who Suffer From Allergies & Sensitive Skin

Hello, Woman To Woman Talk Magazine readers, Meet KID LIFE Founder, Shante James. We are confident that our readers would be attracted to her story because Shante created a brand that cares for her customer’s kids just as much as she cares for her own and wants the best for them!

KID LIFE is the best and as parents, we all want the best for our kids. Shante shared with us that she wants to attract customers that are ingredient conscious. She also wants to inspire her community and parents that are possibly stay-at-home parents to seek entrepreneurship and encourage their kids as well. In addition, Shante wants our kids to know that they will be able to take on career choices as well as opportunities in entrepreneurship as a second source of income.

In the next six months, Shante plans to focus on building relationships with her current customers and marketing her brand to make KIDLIFE, a well-known trusted house brand when it comes to kids’ daily essentials. She’s also working on launching two new products to the market along with getting products into the storefront for easier convenience for her customers.

When the pandemic pushed everyone indoors and altered work schedules, you and your family turned your hobby into a passion and a business, KID LIFE. Why was this?

This was because my family suffers from allergies and sensitive skin. We were always experimenting with natural ingredients already found in our kitchen.

What started out as kitchen-made products turned into the brand working with major U.S. labs, which now manufactures their product line. We understand that you are selective about the choice of ingredients in your products. Please elaborate.

Our products are made in the USA and created by me, a Mom of 3, who worked hard to find a solution to our children’s Sensitive Skin and Allergies issues. Most of our products are convenient for parents because they can be used for all skin types and hair.

Where can we find your products?

Today, you can find the products at easily accessible places like Amazon, Walmart online, and many other e-commerce sites.

How do you come up with new ideas for your business?

New ideas come to me as visions, my children add on the ideas and I work with my mentors and strategists as well.

What’s your best piece of advice for aspiring and new entrepreneurs?

My best piece of advice for aspiring new entrepreneurs is not to let the idea or vision slip away. Grab a pen and notebook and start brainstorming. I encourage them to find a mentor and join the various chambers of commerce, SCORE, and other small business programs regulated through government programs and universities.
