Uphoric Xpressions is my Beauty, Skin and Wellness Line. With Uphoric Xpressions I wanted to create an experience that helped women look and feel their best while also promoting mental health awareness, positivity, mindfulness and self-expression. I’ve always been a huge advocate of mental health awareness, positivity, self-care, creativity and women’s empowerment, so I needed a creative name to reflect just that. It took a while to come up with the perfect brand name but it finally came to me.
(E)Uphoric is characterized by a feeling of intense excitement and happiness. Different activities etc can induce a state of euphoria and bring you confidence. (E)Xpressions is the process of making known one’s thoughts and/or feelings. Focusing on your own thoughts, feelings, mindset and being creative. Uphoric Xpressions is Where Self-Care and Creativity Meet.
What has been some of your favorite feedback on your collections? Who exactly is your ideal customer?
Some of our favorite feedback has been that our customers love how our products not only help them look good and improve their skin but that the products also help them feel good. They are always complimenting the amazing scents and softness of our body butters or how our matte lipsticks have got them through the entire day!!
Our ideal customer is women ages 25 to 55 who have a busy lifestyle such as entrepreneurs, career driven women, boss moms, etc. These women may lead a fast paced life with little time or energy for self care making them more likely to seek out convenient and efficient self- care solutions. They are always on the move and the majority of the time they are helping other people whether it’s their kids, clients or their superiors. So, these women not only need a way to keep their skin healthy and moisturized throughout the day but they also need something to boost their mood and keep them going.
Our ideal customer also seeks community and will appreciate being part of the ” UPHORIC YOU-NIVERSE”community that shares their values and interests in self care, self-improvement, self-expression, personal growth in all areas, women’s empowerment, positivity and more. They are familiar and comfortable using technology to find and purchase self-care products and are open minded to learning and trying new wellness practices to improve their self care. Last but not least, our ideal customer is looking for high-quality, natural beauty and skincare products that are free of harmful chemicals and ingredients, while also treating their rough skin, dry skin, psoriasis or eczema.

Vibrancy is the exact feeling that we wanted to give for our brand. Uphoric Xpressions is a universe/ galaxy themed skincare brand that specializes in creating luxurious products from all natural ingredients. Our products are inspired by the beauty and mystery of the universe and are designed to help our customers feel like they are indulging in a celestial or out of this world experience. When using our products, we aim to create a unique experience by combining the power of the universe with natural skincare and beauty that will transport them to another galaxy while also providing a mindful and relaxing experience.
Our mission is to provide busy/boss women with convenient access to healthy skincare products that illuminate their skin AND celebrate the beauty of YOU…MIND…BODY…& SPIRIT….Our motto is “Always Put U First” and by using Uphoric Xpressions, you will love the skin you’re in, literally and figuratively 🙂
Our products are formulated with “YOU” in mind. All of our products are formulated and/or handcrafted in alignment with your goals and values and include essential oils for that overall aromatherapy feel. UX products range from body butters, body scrubs and signature soaps to beauty products such as lip glosses, lipsticks, lip liners, etc. Our products are Plant Based, Vegan, Organic, All Natural and Customizable. Lastly, customers have the option of purchasing positive affirmation bracelets for $1 in which proceeds go to girls in foster care and domestic violence victims.

Uphoric Xpressions shows how important it is to make time for yourself especially with demanding careers etc. After overcoming my own skin insecurities, domestic violence, anxiety, neglecting my own health and putting the needs of my clients/family/friends before my own, I started using products with essential oils, practicing aromatherapy and meditation to help me focus, relax, express myself and boost my mood. As a result, I noticed an overall improvement and knew it was important that I help others do the same. I started loving myself again and being comfortable in my own skin. Uphoric Xpressions aims to help boost our customers’ confidence and give you an empowering way to express yourself and show off your individuality. We are all about “Uplifting your mood while leaving your skin/lips smooth”. Each of our scents are carefully crafted to evoke feelings of happiness, joy, positivity and love. We believe that once you feel better and love yourself, you will then go out and exude that love to others at home, work, boardroom, etc. UX is big on positive messaging to uplift customers and personalization so that our customers know they are special and appreciated.
As women of color specifically, tell us what you think about self-care awareness and what that looks like for us in 2023!
Self- Care awareness in 2023, especially for women of color, starts with just that: Awareness. It involves us understanding the unique experiences, challenges, and needs that come with being a woman of color. This means recognizing that there may be cultural and societal factors that impact our mental, physical, and emotional well-being, and taking steps to prioritize self-care in order to address these factors.
Self Care Awareness is important because it helps us to prioritize our well-being which can in turn lead to our overall improved health and mood, increased resilience and better ability to cope with life’s challenges. In 2023, it is especially important in today’s fast paced and stressful world, where we often neglect our own needs in favor of work or other responsibilities. It would be beneficial for women of color to start:
- Acknowledging and addressing the impact of racism, discrimination, and microaggressions on our mental health and well-being.
- Understanding the barriers or challenges when it comes to self-care for women of color such as lack of social support, financial stress, societal expectations of having to be independent and self-sufficient and demands of professional roles
- Seeking out culturally competent healthcare providers who understand the specific health concerns and experiences of women of color.
- Prioritizing rest, sleep, and relaxation as a means of combating stress and fatigue.
- Engaging in regular physical activity that is enjoyable and sustainable.
- Practicing mindfulness and meditation as a means of reducing stress and promoting mental well-being.
- Connecting with communities and engaging in meaningful social support networks.
- Nurturing one’s creativity through artistic expression, hobbies, or other forms of self-expression.
- Investing in self-care products and practices that promote physical and emotional well-being, such as skincare, aromatherapy, or massage aka UPHORIC XPRESSIONS 🙂
It’s amazing that your products are either vegan, organic, all natural, customizable, unisex and/or contain some of our favorite essential oils and/or scents! – What is your thought process behind this flex?
Uphoric Xpressions just understands that our customers want and need products that are not harmful. We are about wellness, realness and rawness, PERIOD!!! Also, although our products are catered to women, we understand that our men need a little extra loving and self care sometimes too. So yes, our products are unisex and a few times during the year we may offer products for men as well. For our customizable products, we understand that everyone’s skin is different and has different needs and we are big on self expression so we wanted to create that option for our customers who love a personalized touch of creativity.
Please tell us about your “Spend a Night Bag”! What can we expect there?
The Spend A Night Bag or The Boss Bag is what we call every woman’s best friend. It is a go to bag that has all of your essential items in one place, “just in case”. It will hold more than your purse can and it is something you will always have with you. When you are always busy or on the go, it is essential to have all of your important items in one location so that you are always prepared. Your body butters and scrubs seem to be a huge hit! Tell us about these hand-crafted products! What can we expect to experience?
Our body butters are the number one seller at Uphoric Xpressions. They are made fresh and have numerous benefits. Uphoric Xpressions body butters are Moisturizing, Soothing, Softening, Protecting, Enlightening. We have our Signature 3: Oasis, Synergy and Bliss body butters as well as the “U” Collection. In the “U” Collection customers have a more personalized experience. It focuses on the uniqueness of “You”, mixed with your favorite scents such as Pink Sugar, Gucci Guilty and more. In the “U” Collection you can also add CBD oil etc.
With the body butters, you apply it to your entire body after showering/ bathing or during the day to freshen up. It is particularly suitable for dry skin areas such as hands, feet, elbows, knees, etc. A little definitely goes a long way and it is best to store your UX Body Butter in a cool area for best results. They also have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial , antifungal and anti-aging properties allowing them to help with treating eczema, psoriasis, dryness, acne and pain relief. 1. Oasis- Lavender infused. The lavender has a calming effect and can help with sleep and relaxation. It’s exciting to see that UX offers a playlist! What inspired this and how can our readers connect and download?
UX has a playlist for our Uphoric customers as we understand the positive impact that music also has on self-care. It is a stress reliever, mood regulator, helps with mindfulness and movement similar to our products. Usually when I get out of the shower, I am always playing music as I am getting ready. There is just something about the music flowing through the speaker as I’m rubbing my body butter on or doing my makeup with UX products that puts me in a better mood.
We wanted our customers to get that same feeling everytime they use our products, so a playlist was just the cherry on top. We also have some meditation sounds to assist our customers with winding down at night while they rub on their Oasis Body Butter or when they are feeling stressed, can’t sleep, need to clear their mind etc. Lastly, there are also motivational speeches on this playlist to give our customers that extra boost of confidence before getting the day started.
