Who would have known that through that tragedy she would find her purpose in helping women be the best version of themselves through Beauty & Wellness.
Not only does Tashell survive with one lung, she THRIVES as a 20+ year Licensed Hair Expert, Owner of Euphoric Essence Hair Salon (4 time award winning salon) and Cadence Taylor Organic Beauty Products, Cert. She believes that everyone has a story that needs to be shared to heal, connect, help others and give God glory so she wrote her book “One Lung to Live”. It’s about how a tragedy produces inspiration and life lessons that will help you become the best version of yourself. Hello Queen!! It is a pleasure to talk with you! – We admire your perspective on telling your story. How long did it take you to figure out the positive purpose behind your story?
Hello Beautiful!! I hope all is well. It is a pleasure to talk with you as well. Thank you so much. Uuuumm, it took me about 13 years to figure out that my story has such a positive and impactful purpose.
How did you find out there was an issue that would cause you to have your lung removed? And how did you cope with the news?
I found out there was an issue with my lung the day I began to have shortness of breath.
Tashell Williams
I was out shopping with my 11 month old daughter on a hot summer day in Katy, Texas and I got in the car and felt like I was sucking air through a straw. When I got my diagnosis, I had a panic attack. I was scared and in total denial that something like that could be happening to me. It was like having an out of body experience in a bad dream.
Who have been some of your biggest supporters along this journey?
My biggest supporters have been my husband, children, grandmother, parents, family and friends.
When did you become passionate about blending beauty and wellness as a career?
The marriage of Beauty & Wellness became my jam in 2016. I began to learn about the chemicals that are found in most beauty products. I wanted to know more so I sought about to obtain my Wellness Coaching Certification. After focusing on helping my clients to be beautiful externally, with a temporary fix of self – confidence; I know knew how to make them beautiful internally with wellness, which lasts a lifetime.
How does your work serve you internally, and what do you love most about doing what you do?
My work or shall I say operating in my purpose fulfills me in a major way. I can not get enough of providing knowledge, solutions and tools to help woman be the best versions of themselves. I love being able to witness a hopeless woman be empowered, hopeful, inspired and eventually transformed into the women she never knew she could become.
What would you say is your favorite thing about how others take in your story and connect with your brands?
That’s a great question! I would say my favorite thing about how others take in my story is their enlightenment. They are in awe and shock, but then they want to know more. It prompts them to want to live a clean lifestyle or it at least gets their wheels turning.

What do you hope WOC learn from connecting with you?
Thrive, not just survive. Take care of yourself internally and externally. Balance is key! Learn to be intentional about creating the life full of the things that are most important to you because life is short. Find your purpose.
Nothing else will give you fulfillment other than doing what God has created you to do. Find your breath, be thankful for it and use it to relax and calm your nervous system. Practice gratitude daily. Know you have the power to make change at any moment. Just do it! Tell your story, because it changes lives!
We love that you teach clients about removing toxins from their personal care products! Please explain that benefit and process!
The benefits of removing toxins from your personal care products is better health and better quality of life. You are lessening the chances of getting cancer, allergies, infertility, hormonal disruption, eczema, asthma, etc.
We make a list of what products they use currently. We go through the ingredients to determine their level of toxicity. I suggest healthy swap options that have high performance based off of their custom needs. We typically see great changes in a short amount of time. I love to see the healing process!

Please tell our readers about your book! What is it about and what inspired you to add the Author Title to your resume?
One Lung to Live will show you how an unexpected tragedy can turn into a reflection of God’s healing power and give your life new meaning! I am a one lung survivor. I share my story of a near death experience at the early age of 22. My treacherous journey of healing and recovery challenged me spiritually, physically and mentally almost to the point of no return. After going through the fight of my life, I came out as a survivor with a testimony. I share life lessons from overcoming my battle to enhance your survival guide of life. This impactful and inspiring story will change your perspective of life and lead you to be a better and happier version of yourself.

Many people had mentioned to me that I should write a book, but I waved it away because I never considered myself a writer. I got Covid in 2021 and the question crossed my mind,” What if I pass away?” I began to think of the things I had not done that I wished I would have done.
Telling my miraculous story was the first thing that crossed my mind. I really didn’t think about becoming an author, I just knew I had to share my story in a way that would always be accessible forever.
What are some things you have coming up that you’d like to share here? – And how can we keep in touch with you and follow your deals and announcements!
