The community of Atlanta has been one of the star-studded events and the land of opportunities. Artist and Actor, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges has combined these Atlanta experiences into a community weekend with a purpose. For 14 years Ludacris has created a weekend in Atlanta jammed packed with family-orientated events that bring the community together with celebrities. This year the weekend included celebrity bowling and golf tournaments, celebrity basketball game at the Morehouse College arena, a VIP TopGolf event, and a youth empowerment event.
The “LudaDay Weekend” is essential to the Atlanta community and the Ludacris Foundation. Chris “Ludacris” Bridges curated this weekend to empower the community, empower the youth, and raise awareness for the Ludacris Foundation. Ludacris Foundation is an organization that focuses on the education and profound experiences that inspire the youth to fulfill their dreams while building stronger communities, and families while developing positive economic knowledge.
This year’s “LudaDay Weekend” included celebrity persons such as Jamie Foxx, Meagan Good, Terrence J., Lance Gross, Larenz Tate, Teyana Taylor, Iman Shumpert, YFN Lucci, Michael Rainey Jr., Blac Youngsta, Bambi from Love and Hip Hop, Laura Govan, and many more.
We had the pleasure of attending the celebrity basketball game, Jamie Foxx vs. Ludacris, which was an unforgettable competition at the Morehouse College arena. Ludacris had his partner in crime Larenz Tate, co-coaching with him as he took home the winning glory with a score of Team Luda 102 and Team Jamie Foxx 101!
